What are the required permissions for configuring the QRadar Proxy API user in Cloud Pak for Security (CP4S)?

Answer

  1. From the CP4S web UI, go to Account Management > Manage Users > Add User
  2. Use a name that makes it easier to identify
    For example, cp4sapi

    Set permissions as follows:
  3. Account configuration: User
  4. User management: No access
  5. Data sources: Admin
  6. Licensing & usage: Viewer
  7. Case Management: User
  8. Dashboards: User
  9. Data Explorer: User
  10. Detection and Response Center: User
  11. Orchestration & Automation: No access
  12. QRadar Proxy: Admin
  13. Risk Manager: Admin
  14. Risk Manager Advanced: Admin
  15. Threat Hunt: Admin
  16. Threat Intelligence Insights: User
  17. Threat Investigator: User
  18. UBA: User
