Summary
Multiple Vulnerabilities in Intel Processors affect Cloud Pak System. Cloud Pak System has addressed these vulnerabilities.
Vulnerability Details
CVEID: CVE-2020-8700
DESCRIPTION: Intel Processors could allow a local authenticated attacker to gain elevated privileges on the system, caused by improper input validation in the firmware. By sending a specially-crafted request, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to escalate privileges.
CVSS Base score: 7.5
CVSS Temporal Score: See: https://exchange.xforce.ibmcloud.com/vulnerabilities/203409 for the current score.

CVEID: CVE-2020-8670
DESCRIPTION: Intel Processors could allow a local authenticated attacker to gain elevated privileges on the system, caused by race condition in the firmware. By sending a specially-crafted request, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to escalate privileges.
CVSS Base score: 7.5
CVSS Temporal Score: See: https://exchange.xforce.ibmcloud.com/vulnerabilities/203410 for the current score.
CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.0/AV:L/AC:H/PR:H/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:H/A:H)
CVEID: CVE-2020-12357
DESCRIPTION: Multiple Intel Processors could allow a local authenticated attacker to gain elevated privileges on the system, caused by improper initialization in the firmware. By sending a specially-crafted request, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to gain elevated privileges.
CVSS Base score: 7.5
CVSS Temporal Score: See: https://exchange.xforce.ibmcloud.com/vulnerabilities/203300 for the current score.
CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.0/AV:L/AC:H/PR:H/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:H/A:H)
CVEID: CVE-2020-12358
DESCRIPTION: Intel Processors are vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by an out-of-bounds write in the firmware. By sending a specially-crafted request, a local authenticated attacker could exploit this vulnerability to cause a denial of service.
CVSS Base score: 6.7
CVSS Temporal Score: See: https://exchange.xforce.ibmcloud.com/vulnerabilities/203414 for the current score.
CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.0/AV:L/AC:L/PR:H/UI:N/S:C/C:L/I:N/A:H)
CVEID: CVE-2020-12359
DESCRIPTION: Intel Processors could allow a local attacker to gain elevated privileges on the system, caused by insufficient control flow management. By sending a specially-crafted request, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to escalate privileges.
CVSS Base score: 7.1
CVSS Temporal Score: See: https://exchange.xforce.ibmcloud.com/vulnerabilities/203413 for the current score.
CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.0/AV:P/AC:H/PR:N/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:H/A:H)
CVEID: CVE-2020-12360
DESCRIPTION: Intel Processors could allow a local authenticated attacker to gain elevated privileges on the system, caused by an out-of-bounds read in the firmware. By sending a specially-crafted request, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to escalate privileges.
CVSS Base score: 5.6
CVSS Temporal Score: See: https://exchange.xforce.ibmcloud.com/vulnerabilities/203412 for the current score.
CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.0/AV:L/AC:H/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:N/A:N)
CVEID: CVE-2020-24486
DESCRIPTION: Intel Processors are vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by improper input validatio in the firmware. By sending a specially-crafted request, a local authenticated attacker could exploit this vulnerability to cause a denial of service.
CVSS Base score: 5.5
CVSS Temporal Score: See: https://exchange.xforce.ibmcloud.com/vulnerabilities/203411 for the current score.
CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.0/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H)
CVEID: CVE-2020-24511
DESCRIPTION: Intel Processors could allow a local authenticated attacker to obtain sensitive information, caused by improper isolation of shared resources. By sending a specially-crafted request, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to obtain sensitive information.
CVSS Base score: 5.6
CVSS Temporal Score: See: https://exchange.xforce.ibmcloud.com/vulnerabilities/203398 for the current score.
