CVEID:   CVE-2021-36090
DESCRIPTION:   Apache Commons Compress is vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by an out-of-memory error when large amounts of memory are allocated. By reading a specially-crafted ZIP archive, a remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to cause a denial of service condition against services that use Compress' zip package.

Remediation/Fixes

For unsupported version/release/platform IBM recommends upgrading to a fixed, supported version of the product.

Cloud Pak System uses weaker than expected cryptographic algorithms during negotiation, which could allow an attacker to decrypt sensitive information. TLS 1.0 and 1.1 is not disabled by default.  Cloud Pak System v2.3.3.4 supports TLS1.2 and enables it by default.
