IBM Support

Known limitation regarding signon using Google OAuth2 namespace in Framework Manager

Troubleshooting

Problem

Signon using Google OAuth2 namespace support is partially added to Cognos Analytics 11.2.2. However, this support does not extend to all legacy client applications that may be used within 11.2.2 environments. Google OAuth2 logon is restricted by Google policy, as described in these articles:
For example, in Framework Manager, logon requests are issued within embedded browsers (webviews). This authentication method does not meet Google OAuth2 policy requirements. Framework Manager support for Google OAuth2 logon is being developed for future releases.
