Abstract
WebSphere Application Server Developer Tools for Eclipse is a component of the WebSphere Application Server family of products and adheres to an "Other" Software Support Lifecycle Policy as described below.

IBM WebSphere Application Server Developer Tools for Eclipse (WDT) is a lightweight set of tools that can be used to develop, assemble, and deploy Java EE, OSGi and mobile applications to WebSphere Application Server traditional and Liberty.
Support is available for in-support versions of WebSphere Application Server Developer Tools for Eclipse and the support is provided based on having active support entitlement for a WebSphere Application Server product, such as IBM WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment, IBM WebSphere Application Server, IBM WebSphere Application Server Liberty Core or IBM WebSphere Hybrid Edition.
IBM WebSphere Application Server Developer Tools for Eclipse follows a Continuous Delivery (CD) model and has the following Software Support Lifecycle Policy:
- A regular CD update (YY.N) may be made available as often as every 6 months
- IBM Support is provided for the latest CD update (YY.N) and the previous CD update (YY.N-1)
- Fixes and new functionality will be provided in the next CD update
- WDT does not deliver interim fixes (iFix)
For supported open source components of WebSphere Application Server Developer Tools for Eclipse:
- If an identified problem requires a fix to an open source project, the ability to deliver this fix is contingent on the open source community project accepting and publishing the fix for the required version of the open source project. IBM will supply reasonable effort to identify the fix and work with the community to have the fix included in an appropriate release.
