Summary
IBM WebSphere Application Server Liberty, which is bundled in IBM WebSphere Hybrid Edition, is vulnerable to an Information Disclosure (CVE-2022-22310). The IBM WebSphere Application Server Liberty could provide weaker than expected security. A remote attacker could exploit this weakness to obtain sensitive information and gain unauthorized access to JAX-WS applications.

Recommended solution is found in the IBM WebSphere Application Server Liberty Security Bulletin: Security Bulletin: IBM WebSphere Application Server Liberty is vulnerable to an Information Disclosure (CVE-2022-22310), and is also included here:
IBM strongly recommends addressing the vulnerability now by applying a currently available interim fix or fix pack that contains the APAR.
For WebSphere Application Server Liberty 21.0.0.10 - 21.0.0.12 using the jaxws-2.2 feature:
· Upgrade to minimal fix pack levels as required by interim fix and then apply Interim Fix PH42074
--OR--
· Apply Liberty Fix Pack 22.0.0.1 or later (targeted availability 1Q2022).
