Troubleshooting
Problem
If you created a data module in 11.1.7 or below that uses relative dates and you migrate it to 11.2.x, you will receive validation warnings. This document explains how to fix these warnings.
Symptom
To conduct Relative Date Analysis, if you created an application (set of reports, dashboards, stories, explorations, and/or data modules) in Cognos Analytics 11.1.7 that use any of the sample calendars (Team content > Calendars), and you migrate it to Cognos Analytics 11.2.0 or higher, you will receive the following warnings (see Appendix A for example screen captures):
- In any data module that uses an 11.1.7 calendar data module: Warning: MSR-VRF-1206 The table "null" refers to "M2.Page1_1", which does not exist or its permissions do not allow it to be read.
- When editing or running a report that uses the data module above: XQE-V5-0005 Identifier not found
- When viewing a dashboard that uses the data module above: Some data set items used in this visualization are unavailable
