Troubleshooting

Problem

When a bot is executed via API or scheduled to run with the unlock machine option set to true, the bot fails, and this message appears in the log:
"Error trying to execute script. Could not execute auto-logon. No provider events configured. This could mean that window update was running. Try restart the computer."

Cause

A pending windows update.

Environment

SaaS and On-premises

Resolving The Problem

Perform the necessary update, and restart the machine.
After the machine reboot, reschedule the bot or call the API again, and if the issue persists, open a support case.
