What is the difference between PowerVC 2.0.2 Standard and PowerVC 2.0.2 for Private Cloud? How about PowerVC Appliance?

Additional information in support of IBM PowerVC 2.0.2 product documentation which details the primary difference between product editions.
Answer
Customers wishing to install PowerVC 2.0.2 may have questions about which version is right for them. There are two versions of PowerVC 2.0.2:
- IBM PowerVC 2.0.2 (5765-VS2)
- IBM PowerVC for Private Cloud 2.0.2 (5765-VC2)
The primary difference between the two versions is that the Cloud version has a "Self Service" function that allow users to to login to PowerVC to request, deploy, and resize partitions. The way this function works is that the PowerVC admin creates a Project and then adds Users to the project. This process is explained in the document Scenario: Create a project with deploy templates. Another document, Feature support for PowerVC editions, lists some of the differences between the two PowerVC versions.
If you want users to be able to control their own VMs, install and use IBM PowerVC for Private Cloud. If you will be doing all of the administrative work yourself, you may use the Standard version.
Notes:
- It is not currently possible to switch from one edition of PowerVC to the other, so choose wisely. -- Including during upgrade to a new release.
- PowerVC 2.0.2 works as a cluster, and both PowerVC Standard and Cloud can be configured with up to three nodes. But even if you have only one node, it still is installed and used as a cluster. The document Initiate installation through PowerVC operations manager explains how you create the cluster, which is required even if you will only have one node.
