Error description

• This is an enhancement of IMS BSDS/Directory Backup and Restore.
  Compare DBD/PSB between the IMS directory backup to IMS catalog
  database before restoring the IMS directory.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: IMS directory/BSDS backup and restore   *
  *                      enhancement. Before restoring the IMS   *
  *                      directory, the compare function can     *
  *                      compare the backup of IMS directory     *
  *                      with the IMS catalog database.          *
  *                      This enhancement is available only for  *
  *                      the ISPF interface.                     *

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR.         *
  ****************************************************************
  IMS Administration Tool can compare DBD/PSB resource instances
  in the backup with those in the IMS catalog database before
  restoring IMS data sets.
  You can use this new function when you generate restore JCL for
  restoring IMS directory/BSDS data sets.
  
  The enhancement is being implemented as a result of RFE 147776.
  
  Apply PH43839 to IMS Library Integrity Utilities to use compare
  DBD/PSB between IMS directory backup and IMS catalog DB before
  restore.
