Question
Customer is trying to install DFSMShsm PTF UJ05471. The instructions state to use DFPISMKD and DFPMKDIR to create the needed directories. When they search in SYS1.SAMPLIB, they can't be found. Where are they?
Cause
UJ05471 has a requirement to install APAR/PTF OA60532/UJ05094 in support of UJ05471. Some times this requirement is bypassed so the PTF is not installed.
Answer
Install PTF UJ05094 to get the DFPISMKD and DFPMKDIR files in SYS1.SAMPLIB.
After the PTF is installed and DFPISMKD and DFPMKDIR are available, execute the DFPISMKD utility to run the DFPMKDIR EXEC from an SMP/E temporary directory. Or issue the appropriate mkdir command to create the directories and then issue chmod to set the directory permissions to 755.
