CVE-2021-44228 describes a vulnerability in the Apache Log4j 2.X Java library dubbed Log4Shell.
IBM Datacap is not vulnerable to CVE-2021-44228 because the software does not use Log4j version 2.x libraries. IBM Datacap has indirect dependency on Log4j version 1.x libraries due to the other IBM products or third-party integrations, and the Log4j version 1.x libraries are not affected by CVE-2021-44228.
