IBM Tivoli Netcool/Impact 7.1.0 interim fix 9 addresses a critical security fix.
The following Netcool/Impact APARs are delivered with interim fix 9:

  • IJ36516: SECURITY APAR FOR CVE-2021-44228 and CVE-2021-45046 - UPGRADE LOG4JV2 IN IMPACT 710.
IBM Tivoli Netcool/Impact 7.1.0 interim fix 9 updates Log4J to v2.16.0

Note: A previous version of interim fix 9 updates Log4J to 2.15.0.
If you installed a previous version of interim fix 9, uninstall before installing this version.
