Problem
Updating IHS from any older fix pack to 9.0.5.10 install may complete with errors/warnings referring to INSTCONFFAILED, even though IHS is fully updated to 9.0.5.10 per bin/versionInfo and bin/apachectl -v, or bin/httpd.exe -v
This problem has been assigned APAR PH42587.
Symptom
When the IHS 9.0.5.10 update completes, the installer may report a message such as the following:
WARNING:
Configuration errors were detected during the installation. You should view the log file(s) under /opt/IHS/logs/postinstall/fixpack directory to investigate the severity of the errors.
The file logs/postinstall/fixpack/postinstallerConfigActions*.log may end with a message such as the following:
<message>Returning with return code: INSTCONFFAILED</message>
