Expected new properties are missing from the DataStage connector stage following an update

Problem

Some new properties might be missing from the connector stage on one or more existing or new projects, following a Service Pack or Fix Pack update.
 

Symptom

For example, after 11.7.1.1 Service Pack 2 or 11.7.1.3 (Fix Pack 3) is installed, the Db2 connector is expected to have the following new Connection properties:
  • ConnectionType
  • Hostname
  • Port
  • SslConnection
  • SslCertificate
  • Options
  • AuthenticationType
  • ApiKey
Another symptom of the issue is that the stage type version number remains at 1.0 despite the update. To see the version number, double-click the affected stage in the DataStage Designer and view the version number on the Creator tab.
