Error description
The analytics feature "create new dashboards" is not shown whenever you add a user on the space level, however its present if the same user is added on Organization/catalog level. Steps to reproduce the problem: 1- Create a new catalog and enable the spaces (make sure to configure the Gateway Service and analytics service is enabled for the catalog/spaces) 2- Add/Invite a member to the default catalog space (or one you created) and assign the user an existing role such as Developer 3- Accept the invitation, perform the signup for the user and login with that user 4- Navigate to the space. 5- Go to the analytics tab Expected The '+' button to create new dashboard is visible in the Dashboard tab The same is for the Visualization tab. Actual Result: The '+' button to create new dashboard is not visible in the Dashboard tab The same is seen from the Visualization.
Local fix
Workaround: Add the user as a member at the catalog level.
Problem summary
Users with analytics manage permission at the space level won't see the add analytics dashboard (+) button in the analytics tab.
Problem conclusion
The issue is fixed in API Connect v10.0.1.5 and v10.0.4.0.
