Error description

• The RabbitMQ logs which reside in the directory below, of the
  IBM Spectrum Protect Plus Server, are not properly being
  truncated.
  /data/log/rabbitmq/
  

Local fix

• Log into the Spectrum Protect Plus Server via command line with
  the serveradmin account.
  cd /etc/logrotate.d/
  sudo vi rabbitmq-server
  
  Change the following line from:
  /var/log/rabbitmq/*.log {
  
  To:
  /data/log/rabbitmq/*.log {
  
  Save the file.

Problem conclusion

• IBM Spectrum Protect Plus RabbitMQ log rotation has been
  adjusted to properly delete log files from the
  /data/log/rabbitmq directory. This adjustment will assure that
  log files do not consume available disk space that is required
  for the RabbitMQ component to operate.
