Error description

  • If there are node failures during burst of file create or
    delete activity, then it is possible for the cached free
    inode counters on the file system manager to become
    out of date.

  • Run 'mmfsadm test imapWork <fs> inodeManager'
    or 'mmchmgr <fs> <another node>'

    Benefits of the solution:
    The fix ensures that node failure recovery corrects
    the cached free inode count on the file system
    manager.
    Work around:
    Run 'mmfsadm test imapWork <fs> inodeManager'
    or 'mmchmgr <fs> <another node>'
    Problem trigger:
    Node failures in the middle of large
    number of file creates or deletes.
    Symptom: Error output/message
    Platforms affected: ALL Operating System environments
    Functional Area affected: All Scale Users
