• dsjob -linkinfo has the rowcount defined as an integer
  so can only handle a limited range of numbers.

  USERS AFFECTED:
  The problem only affects users of the dsapi interface
  DSGetLinkInfo
  DSJ_LINKROWCOUNT interface when the row count exceed MAXINT
  rows.
  The problem was exhibited by the dsjob command which makes use
  of
  this API interface.

  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  The problem was that  the DSJ_LINKROWCOUNT interface was defined
  as
  returning an integer type, this limited the values that could be
  returned.
  ****************************************************************
  RECOMMENDATION:
  The only way to resolve the problem is to aply the patch so that
  the
  new interface can be used to retrieve the row count as a string.
  ****************************************************************
  

Problem conclusion

• The problem was resolved by introducing a new interface accessed
   by DSJ_LINKEXTROWCOUNT which returns the row count as a string
  value rather than an integer.
