Modeler Server is unable to open X11 display for R plot outputs

Troubleshooting


Problem

Running any R script with a plot output by using extension node with R, ends with the following error:
Warning messages:
1: In png(filename = "Rplot%03d.png") :
  unable to open connection to X11 display ''
2: In .External2(C_X11, paste0("png::", filename), g$width, g$height,  :
  unable to start device PNG
Error in .External2(C_X11, d$display, d$width, d$height, d$pointsize,  : 
  unable to start device X11
In addition: Warning message:
In (function (display = "", width, height, pointsize, gamma, bg,  :
  unable to open connection to X11 display ''
