IBM Cloud Application Business Insights V1.1.7 installation is no longer supported on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7.x version.

According to the IBM Security and Privacy by Design guidelines, the communication between IBM Cloud Application Business Insights (ICABI) and its PostgreSQL database must be encrypted over Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) mode.
Therefore, to implement SSL mode for ICABI, support for RHEL 7.x is discontinued for the following reasons:

- PostgreSQL database that is used in ICABI depends on the platform provided OpenSSL for secure communications.
- RHEL 7.x hosts OpenSSL v1.0 while RHEL 8 hosts the OpenSSL version 1.1, which is the latest. Also, none of the Red Hat releases for RHEL 7.x support OpenSSL v1.1.
- OpenSSL v1.0 and OpenSSL v1.1 are not compatible.
- You cannot install compact-openssl10 package to make OpenSSL v1.1 compatible with OpenSSL v1.0 due to security reasons.
Hence, ICABI V1.1.7 must be installed on RHEL 8.x version only.
