Troubleshooting
Problem
In i2 iBase (but also in i2 Analyst's Notebook, when working with iBase records), some of the Date fields are not displayed correctly.
Instead of a date, the field displays something like "DD445184MMYY H:mm:ss"
Symptom
When looking at records in iBase, the Calculated Number field is displayed incorrectly:

The expected display format is a normal date & time, like

Cause
This problem happens when working with a Calculated Number in iBase, and using an unrecognized Display Format.

Here, the date separator (between the day, month and year) is the Period (".").
This separator is not supported in iBase 9.0.4.
Resolving The Problem
Instead of using the Period as the date separator, you must use either the Slash ("/") or the Dash ("-")
So, you must use one of the following Display Formats:
- dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm:ss
- dd-mm-yyyy hh:mm:ss
- mm/dd/yyyy hh:mm:ss
- mm-dd-yyyy hh:mm:ss
- yyyy/mm/dd hh:mm:ss
- yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm:ss
And the results are now correctly displayed.
