Security Bulletin

Summary

IBM® Db2® could disclose sensitive information when using ADMIN_CMD with LOAD or BACKUP. Note: In addition to applying Special Build, registry variable DB2_LOAD_RESTRICTED_IO_PATH needs to be set to USE_EXTBL_LOCATION (11.1 or later), or one or more semi-colon separated paths. When using USE_EXTBL_LOCATION, the location for the EXTBL_LOCATION db cfg must be secure. You need to make configuration changes to the default location of EXTBL_LOCATION to harden the system.
