Failed to retrieve a list of databases (Repository field is empty) on ClearQuest Web. CQRPC is failing to start.

Troubleshooting


Problem

The native ClearQuest client works. The eclipse client works. The installs looked to be flawless with no issues.

When attempting to login via ClearQuest Web, we get the ClearQuest landing page. But when we try to login the Repository field is empty.

If we manually enter the repository then we get errors such as:

"An error occurred while logging in."

If we try appending to the url: #/<DBSET_Name>/<DB_Name> and we try to login we get:

"Failed to retrieve a list of databases for the selected repository"
