Troubleshooting
Problem
You install the IBM SPSS Modeler Client 18.2.2 on a macOS 11.x platform. You did not observe any problems during the installation process and believe the license was processed successfully as a key was created and applied to your local 'lservrc' file. However, when you launch the SPSS Modeler product, you are presented with the following error:
License information for IBM SPSS Modeler 18.2.2 installed in /Applications/IBM/SPSS/Modeler/18.2.2/Resources/Activation
No licenses found for IBM SPSS Modeler 18.2. ErrCode=2 SubCode=12
No licenses found for IBM SPSS Modeler 18.2. ErrCode=2 SubCode=12
Reinstalling the SPSS Modeler product does not resolve this issue. You also attempt to change the machine Lock Code from 10- to 4- and generate a new license key but that still fails to resolve the problem. Restarting the macOS laptop also fails to resolve this issue.
