Summary

Sometimes it can happen that you decommissioned (removed) some servers in your infrastructure, and they had the IBM Security Guardium™ Installation Manager (GIM) software installed, but you did not uninstall the GIM software before the removal.

In such scenarios, the IBM Security Guardium™ appliance working as a GIM server might still keep a record of the old GIM client host, which leads to the question, how can the deprecated GIM clients be removed from the GIM server?
