Abstract
The generic hot fix on v6.1.0.3 provides FIPS mode support for Native PGP and addresses a decryption issue encountered working with other PGP vendors.
Content
This fix addresses the following requirements on Native PGP implementation:
Customer can install this hotfix, and the checks for FIPS Mode will be available on Native PGP functionality out of the box with FIPS mode enabled on Sterling B2B Integrator.
A fix is given for the interoperability with two other PGP Vendors, Symantec Commandline and SDS E-Business Server, where Native PGP from Sterling B2B Integrator was rejecting the PGP Marker packets during decryption. PGP Marker packets are optional packets in the encrypted data, and Native PGP is not rejecting it anymore.
Note: You must upgrade Symantec Commandline to v10.5.0 MP2 to work seamlessly with Native PGP, as Symantec has addressed a decryption issue on their side with this version.
This hotfix is based on Sterling B2B Integrator v6.1.0.3. The customers must first upgrade to v6.1.0.3 and then apply the generic PGP hotfix.
