Troubleshooting
Problem
When importing a schema from a data server connection, some tables names are in upper case while others are in lower case. Spaces between words are replaced with underscores as well.
Symptom
While loading metadata, if "Retrieve sample data" is selected, it brings tables with underscores and defines numeric/integer columns as measures even though they are identifiers.
If "Retrieve sample data" is not selected, it brings table names without underscores and also defines usage property for most of the columns as identifiers. However, in this scenario, we are seeing inconsistency and some tables appear to have underscores.
