Problem
Attempting to import metadata from Amazon Redshift (Redshift) fails, when one or more selected objects are a materialized view, and sampling of data is enabled.
Cognos Analytics throws the error: MSR-SMT-2190 Internal error trying to create smart metadata.
Importing metadata into Framework Manager does not fail, as sampling is not performed, but queries referencing the materialized view fail.
Amazon Redshift will throw the error: Error: ERROR: permission denied for relation

Symptom
Cognos Analytics calls the JDBC Metadata method DatabaseMetadata.getTables implemented by the Redshift JDBC driver.
The Result set object returned by the drivers returns the same table type (TABLE) that is used to describe regular tables in the schema.
That prevents Cognos Analytics from filtering out rows corresponding to Redshift materialized views.
