Problem
The content store is experiencing deadlock errors. The content manager logs show:
CM-SYS-5144 While processing your request, Content Manager locked a number of objects for 2631.716 seconds. This may have caused other requests to be abandoned. Contact your IBM Cognos system administrator if this problem recurs.
The actual number of seconds reported in the error might vary.
Symptom
Performance issues are reported and deadlocks are typically seen on the database side. The database is SQL Server database.
