DESCRIPTION: Cryptography could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system, caused by an integer overflow and a buffer overflow. By using certain sequences of update calls to symmetrically encrypt multi-GB values, a remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code on the system or cause a denial of service.

Affected Products and Versions
Installed versions of Spectrum Discover (2.0.3, 188.8.131.52, 184.108.40.206, 220.127.116.11, 18.104.22.168, 2.0.4, 22.214.171.124) can be upgraded to fixed version using the IBM Spectrum Discover 126.96.36.199 upgrader and IBM Spectrum Discover 188.8.131.52 upgrader.
