PH36966: NON-TRANSLATED WARNING MESSAGE IN WEBSPHERE LOGS

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The warning message "CWTRS1202W: The CDI
  scope of JAXRS Provider {0} is {1}. Websphere gets the provider
  instance from {2}." is not showing up on the WebSphere logs.
  Instead the non-translated version is being included:
  "warning.jaxrs.cdi.provider.mismatch"

Problem summary

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Non-translated warning message          *
  *                      appearing in logs when the CDI scope    *
  *                      of a JAXRS provider is not correct.     *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  WebSphere will only get the JAXRS provider
  instance from CDI if the CDI scope of provider is Dependent or
  ApplicationScoped. When this scope is different the translated
  CWTRS1202W message should be placed in the logs.  This was not
  the case and only the non-translated
  "warning.jaxrs.cdi.provider.mismatch" was appearing.
  

Problem conclusion

• Changed the code to point the the correct message file,
  allowing the correct warning message to be displayed.
  
  The fix for this APAR is targeted for inclusion in fix pack
