IT37317: CANNOT ADD STORAGE TO STORAGE INSIGHTS WITH SSH KEY AND PASSPHRASE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The following failure message occurs after trying to add devices
  to Storage Insights using ssh authentication with a passphrase
  that is not null. In this situation, FlashSystem storage could
  not be added using the ssh key and passphrase.
  
  Example:
  Adding 2 systems of type FlashSystem Family
  Passphrase is required.  Specify one for subsystem null, null.
  
  "result":{"status":"ERROR","code":3003,"traceMessage":"java.io.
  IOException:Pass phrase is null for an encrypted key.
  
  This is associated with BPCSS0033E.
  
  The storage device can be added using user/password
  authentication or an ssh key with a null phassphrase.
  

Local fix

• None.  As a workaround, the storage device can be added using
  user/password authentication or an ssh key with a null
  phassphrase.
