Note 1
IBM Spectrum Protect Snapshot for Windows and IBM Spectrum Protect HSM for Windows must be at the same Fix Pack Level as the IBM Spectrum Protect Client/API. Within a given Fix Pack level the interim fix level can be different.
For example:
If the Principal Product is at 8.1.11 and the security issue is fixed in the client version 8.1.11.2, then the client can be upgraded to 8.1.11.2.
If the Principal Product is at 8.1.11 and the security issue is fixed in the client version 8.1.12, then the principal product must upgrade to 8.1.12.
Note 2
The IBM Spectrum Protect Client is also referred to as the FlashCopy Manager VSS Requestor component.
