Error description
Installation and/or upgrade of T5 Agent causes the YN Agent Data Collector configuration and/or re-configuration process to fail. If using the GUI to configure it stops (freezes) at on the WebSphere look-up panel and no error messages are generated. If configuring using the command line the following error will be generated: Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: com/ibm/tivoli/transperf/core/util/platform/PlatformUtilities.IS _LINUX_P PC64_OS()Z at com.ibm.tivoli.itcam.install.was.config.silent.SectionTTAPI.vali dateData (SectionTTAPI.java:107)
Local fix
1. Backup the <ITM_HOME>/bin/ dynarch.shl file 2. Remove reference to kt5com.jar from the common class path Alternatively, you could restore the script <ITM_HOME>/bin/dynarch.shl to the original state before the T5 upgrade.
