This alert is not about a data integrity or security issue. IBM Cognos Controller Help and documentation (IBM Knowledge Center) renders a blank pop-up screen via the embedded Web browser when invoked from the UI of IBM Cognos Controller’s rich client or IBM Cognos Controller Web.
This issue is now fixed in IBM Cognos Controller 10.4.2 IF11.
NOTE: Fixes will also be released for 10.4.1 and 10.4.0. This alert will be updated as soon as those fixes are available.
