Problem
A restore job from a V5R4 or earlier save fails when restoring to V6R1 or above with CPF3717 File not selected. File label or file name mismatch for file xxxxxx and CPD37BA File not selected. Authorities not saved for file xxxxxx . This applies to RSTLIB, RSTOBJ, RSTLIBBRM, and RSTOBJBRM.
Resolving The Problem
The problem is caused by using the PVTAUT(*YES) parameter on the restore command. This is applicable to RSTLIB, RSTOBJ, RSTLIBBRM, and RSTOBJBRM.
PVTAUT was introduced at V6R1 so the authorities were not saved with the library on saves created on OS versions prior to V6R1.
Remove the PVTAUT parameter or set it to PVTAUT(*NO) on the restore command to restore the data.
