Problem conclusion
DOCUMENTATION CHANGES Updates describing the Safeguarded Incremental Restore to Production function have been included in the latest revision of the GDPS LCP Manager documentation (ZG24-6763-04). These updates, applicable to both V4R4 and V4R5 installations, can be found in file ZG246743_V4R5 available in the fromibm/docs subdirectory on the GDPS FTP site for your licensed offering. DS8000 CODE REQUIRED Exploitation of Safeguarded Incremental Restore to Production requires DS8900 microcode level 89.20.147.0 or higher. For current recommended code level, see https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/ds8000-code-recommendation for 'go-to' level. PRODUCT DEPENDENCY Prior to using the Safeguarded Incremental Restore to Production function provided by this PTF, the following z/OS System Data Mover PTF must be applied to LCP Manager (Kp) system to obtain the necessary LCP SafeGuarded copy support: z/OS 2.3 systems require UJ07206; z/OS 2.4 systems require UJ07207; z/OS 2.5 systems require UJ07208. ACTION REQUIRED Prior to exploiting the new function delivered by this PTF, a GDPS DASD Configuration must be performed. This action will increment the configuration level to that expected by the Restore to Production function.
