Launching ACS from Linux

Troubleshooting

Problem

Not able to launch the acsbundle.jar file of ACS from a Linux platform. This could differ with each flavor.

Resolving The Problem

In order to launch ACS from Linux follow this process:

1. Open a terminal

2. Issue the command java -jar acsbundle.jar

3. Should open the window for ACS, accept the tems and conditions.

**NOTES**

Some versions of Linux may require you to put the path leading to acsbundle.jar instead of just the file name

If this does not open a session check your version of Java (java -version) you must be at version of Java that is at least Java 6.0 or higher.

java -version should say at least java version "1.6.0_31". If it does not then upgrade your Java before launching ACS.
