Error description

  • Not able to get database down alert reported by Oracle agent.
    Both "KRZ_DATABASE_INFORMATION.Database_Status *EQ Inactive"
    and "KRZ_RDB_ACTIVE_INSTANCE.Status *EQ INACTIVE" do not work.

    Detailed Recreation Procedure:
    1) Install Oracle APM
    agent and configure the agent instance.
    2) Start Oracle agent
    instance, wait till Oracle agent instance show on APM
    console.
    3) Define threshold using condition either
    "KRZ_DATABASE_INFORMATION.Database_Status *EQ Inactive" or
    "KRZ_RDB_ACTIVE_INSTANCE.Status *EQ INACTIVE"
    4) Shutdown
    database
    5) There is no event reported by Oracle agent on APM
    console. And agent shows offline on the APM console.
