Error description

  • HPU 5.1 only) After the enhancement PH18085/PB52954,the unload
stops with completion code of 8 after having issued an INZRE42
    message.
This occurs when the following conditions are fulfilled :
    - the unload is run in native mode
    - the tablespace contains compressed rows
    - the dictionary is present in the tablespace LDSes but its type
(field HPGZLD) in the header page is Null (i.e. 0x00).
This unexpected value should be handled by Db2 HPU as a synonym
of the 'F' and 'L' values.

Local fix

  • run the unload in SQL mode or, if using the native mode is
important, consider reorganizing the tablespace with a Db2
    fully-compliant REORG utility.
