Troubleshooting


Problem

Cognos Analytics application throws a socket timeout error while querying a Planning Analytics cube model.
The Planning Analytics server did not finish executing the request within the default period of five minutes.

Symptom

Cognos Analytics throws an exception error:

XQE-CON-0007 XQE ERROR ENCOUNTERED: XTR-ERR-0001 AN UNKNOWN ERROR HAS OCCURRED:
XTR-ERR-0005 A REQUEST TO TM1 RESULTED IN ERROR: "[400] JAVA.NET.SOCKETTIMEOUTEXCEPTION: READ TIMED OUT
