Error description
"Run SQLID" should not participate in the comparison stage that determines the action of drop/create Vs. ALTER. Once an action is determined, "Run SQLID" will continue to influence the CREATOR based on SET statemenyts generated.

Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: Users of the DB2 Object Comparison Tool for * * z/OS and DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS * * who alter a table space and use the 'Run * * SQLID' option. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When altering a table space from Page * * to Row level locking and specifying * * a value for the 'Run SQLID' option on * * panel ADB2C11A 'Generate Analyze Job', * * the table space is dropped and * * recreated because the value * * specified for the 'Run SQLID' option * * is considered the new owner. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** When altering a table space from Page to Row level locking and specifying a value for the 'Run SQLID' option on panel ADB2C11A 'Generate Analyze Job', the table space is dropped and recreated because the value specified for the 'Run SQLID' option is considered the new owner.
Problem conclusion
The value specified for the 'Run SQLID' option on panels ADB2C11A is considered the new owner only if the table space is dropped and recreated for another change. If the table space is altered the owner will not be changed to the value specified by the 'Run SQLID' option. The following description for the 'Run SQLID' option has changed on help panels: 1. GOC5H: 'HELP: Generate Compare Job' 2. ADBH7P: 'HELP: ALTER Analysis Options' 3. ADBHC11A: 'HELP: Generate Analyze Job' Note: If a Run SQLID is specified, this sqlid will be the owner of databases and table spaces if the objects are dropped and recreated for another reason.
