Using configuration setting returnDataItemNameInPartialDataset in Dynamic Query Mode

Troubleshooting

Problem

A report migrated from Compatible Query Mode (CQM) to Dynamic Query Mode (DQM) displays a different label  for an item in the output of a crosstab report.

The following figure shows a simple crosstab layout, with the row edge being empty and the column edge referencing a data item (named "Data Item1"), which is a calculation based on a dimensionally modelled measure.
Layout of a simple crosstab

On the far right of the figure, the label type chosen for "Data Item 1" was "Data item value", which is one of the five optional label types allowed in Report Studio, namely
     a) Text
     b) Data item value
     c) Data item label ('label' property of the data item must be specified).
     d) Report expression
     e) Member caption

Symptom

When run, the above crosstab produced the following outputs.

The displayed label changed from "Data Item1" (CQM) to "Quantity" (DQM).
