Error description

  • In DB2 Administration Tool, using DDL or GEN commands to create
    DDL for a VIEW that contains a sub-select that uses COUNT(*) AS
    TOT function, the correct DDL is created; but, the following
    error report occurs:
     Unresolved symbol. Index=0019 Symbol=COUNT  Unresolved
    symbol. Index=0025 Symbol=SUBSTR Error occured when parsing
    the following stmt : CREATE VIEW V_FDS_ABZ ( STATUS ,FELDNAME
    , and Unresolved symbol. Index=0037 Symbol=COALESCE Error
    occured when parsing the following stmt :
    CREATE VIEW        VDVI_DD_FELD#2 ( FDS_RELEASE_N
    .
      Error occured when parsing the following stmt :
    .
    The VIEW DDL appears below these error messages.  The correct
    VIEW DDL is produced in the output dataset.

Problem conclusion

  • The reported problems are fixed in module ADB2PA .
    In addition, "an invalid token error in parsing" is fixed in
    one of the "Cloning" modules, ADB2WCL , and a V420 error of
    "UNNECESSARY DROP TABLE" is fixed in panel ADB27CTC .
