APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • This fix pack contains the following corrections:
    - APARs PQ75778 & PQ75779, DB2 for z/OS:
     - In table layout mode, using a filter with a date field now
       works properly.
     - In the form layout mode, searching for a decimal value
       greater than 10 positions now works properly.
    - APAR PQ76448: A launch button associated with a multiedit box,
      combo box, list box, or list control now works properly.
    - APAR PQ80858: A bound column can now be displayed in a combo
      box when the combo box is bound to a column and its source is
      a select statement.
    - APAR PQ77661: Using a URL to specify Table Editor server
      definition file no longer results in a "file not found" error.
    - APAR PQ75995: Searching on a DB2 UDB v8 default table using a
      CLI connection no longer results in a memory allocation
      error.
    - APAR PQ87371 BIGINT data can now be updated and is now
      displayed properly in search results.
    - You can now use the DB2 Table Editor Java Player component to
      update DBCS (double byte character set) CHARACTER  data using
      DB2 UDB V8.1 Fix Pack 3 or above.
    - Button labels now appear properly when opening a .fse form
      that was saved in the DB2 Table Editor User application.
    - Buttons now appear properly in the DB2 Table Editor Java
      Player component when opening forms that were created in the
      DB2 Table Editor User application.
    - Buttons now work properly in the DB2 Table Editor Java Player
      component when opening forms that were created in the DB2
      Table Editor Developer application.
    - Button actions in forms that were created in English now work
      properly in non-English languages.
    - The DB2 Table Editor Java Player now opens forms that have no
      primary table that were created in the DB2 Table Editor
      Developer component.
    - In the DB2 Table Editor Developer component, the run button
      now functions properly when used to run a form in the
      Japanese version of DB2 Table Editor.
    
    Enhancements
    - You can now access Informix databases without using a DB2
      database.
    - Features have been added to take advantage of DB2 Version 8
      functionality.
    - The DB2 Table Editor Developer component and Table Editor
      (Windows) component are fully accessible to all users.
