Abstract
If you are using the IBM Cognos Analytics Reports application on an iOS device, you must upgrade your version of Cognos Analytics and the Cognos Analytics Reports application in order to receive push notifications.

The Cognos Analytics Reports app uses the Apple Push Notification service (APNs) to deliver notifications to users, such as when there are new reports or report versions delivered to them. The binary protocol push notification service that was being used by Cognos Analytics Reports has been de-activated by Apple. The Interim Fix resolves this issue and allows iOS users to continue receiving push notifications for the Cognos Analytics Reports app.
In order for customers to pick up these fixes, both the IBM Cognos Analytics Server and Mobile Client (the App Store) must be updated.
