APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • After creating a HATS project with a macro and integration
    object the developer tried to use Insert Integration Object
    Properties on a Transformed page (Start.jsp). Choosing input or
    output as an option for the Integration Object Property, the
    menu panel goes away. No code is added to Start.jsp and when
    the file is closed there is no prompt to save for changes.
    The
    behavior is present in both HATS v9.6 and HATS v9.6.1.1
    
    Steps
    to recreate the issue.
    1. Create s HATS web project.
    2. Create
    simple a Macro.
    3. Create an Integration Object from the
    Macro.
    4. Create a custom screen Transformation.
    5. Try to
    insert the Integrated Object properties (input or output) to
    the JSP.
    
    Permanent solution will be added on the next fix pack
    of HATS.

    Steps to recreate the problem:
    
    1. Create HATS web project.
    2. Create macro with prompt and extract.
    3. Create Integrated Object from the macro.
    4. Create Model 1 page from Integration object.
    5. Create custom screen (event and JSP file)
    6. In the JSP page, Go to <!-- Insert your HATS component tags
    here. --> and right click->HATS toolkit->insert the Integrated
    Object properties->Input or Output.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Code changes have been made to address this issue in HATS.
    Certain changes are required in RAD also. The fix will be part
    of next release of RAD 9.7. Contact IBM HATS support for more
    details.
