"import tsm config" command to configure IBM Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) V8.1.2 or later as a backup server fails with the "Error Msg : ANS1592E Failed to initialize SSL protocol"

Problem

If the 'cli' command to configure IBM Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) V8.1.2 or later as a backup server:

import tsm config <user>@<host>:<file> [certificates]

where
<user> userid of machine where config file is stored
<host> hostname of machine where config file is stored
<file> dsm.opt or dsm.sys (specified with full path)
[certificates] certificate is required for TSM server v7.1.8 or newer

failed with the Error Msg : ANS1592E Failed to initialize SSL protocol 

please ask the TSM server administrator to run the following command to resolve it:

update node <node_name> sessionsecurity=transitional

 A node, administrator, or server that is using V8.1.2 or later software has a SESSIONSECURITY value of STRICT, but you has to reset the value to TRANSITIONAL to retry certificate distribution. When using the new protocol, the automatic transfer of a server’s public certificate is performed only on the first connection to a server with enhanced security. After the first connection, the SESSIONSECURITY parameter value of a node changes from TRANSITIONAL to STRICT. You can temporarily update a node, administrator, or server to TRANSITIONAL to allow another automatic transfer of the certificate. While in TRANSITIONAL, the next connection automatically transfers the certificate if needed and resets the SESSIONSECURITY parameter to STRICT.
