Problem summary


    

  • GPFS daemon could fail with logAssertFailed: getDeEntType() ==
detUnlucky when reading a directory block that contain
unexpected data due to corruption.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Avoid GPFS daemon assert so offline mmfsck can be run.
